We don't teach fancy or complicated techniques. We teach techniques that you can use in a real confrontation. This program allows you to put you new-found skills to the test.         GROUP PROGRAM

 

 

This is a personal safety, assertiveness and self-defense training program.  It is part of a comprehensive effort to prevent sexual assault and other acts of interpersonal violence and boundary violations. This program teaches through simulations of physical and non-physical boundary violations.

 

Ensuring a better awareness of your surroundings, having a better understanding of violator's methods and a physical consciousness of your capabilities, is our goal.

 

Most self-defense systems start when the aggressor has already initiated his attack forcing you to quickly defend yourself. Our program starts WELL before the initial contact in a bad situation, empowering students with the confidence and skills needed to quickly identify potential dangers, avoid them or diffuse if necessary.

      CORPORATE PROGRAM          "LUNCH & LEARN"

 

Some occupations can inadvertently put you in harm’s way, by either forcing you to deal with unruly clients or required seclusion because of confidentially. Crime Prevention & Crime Avoidance are easy once you know how the criminal element really operates.

 

The "Lunch & Learn" segments are usually 45-60 minutes in length with a lecture/powerpoint presentation style allowing for segments by adding an additional 1 - 2 hours for a hands-on demonstration of techniques by all participants.

The course is taught by a Wing Chun Kung Fu gold sash, with 22 years of training,  who is from the Ip Man - Moy Yat - Sunny Tang line, a disciple of Sifu Walter Jakimczuk and has a Media and Communication degree.

 

It is better to divert then to detect. It is better to detect then to defuse. It is better to defuse then to dodge. It is better to dodge then to defend. Fighting is always a last resort, but we will show you how to do this with a calm mind and cool intellect.

Our kids learn more from watching us than from anything we say. We need to be the role models we wanted as children. Self Defense has a bad reputation for being either about death and dismemberment or kicking and punching. I propose a new way to see it. To focus on the confidence you get not the fear you feel, while building a strong bond between you both.

A person who understands violence is at liberty to see it before it occurs and to make choices. Understanding violence and being prepared for sudden emergencies will help remove some of the fear and apprehension from your life.
